The main objectives of Taekwondo are to prepare you mentally and physically to cope with any problem/situation you may come across. To increase your level of fitness, co-ordination and self control. To help promote the Art and sport of Taekwondo and to benefit the community.
Taekwondo also has a great effect on children helping their growth and development. It is designed to develop control of all parts of the body and aid in flexibility in all joints. It also helps to relieve fatigue and stress, increased by modern day living!
A common misunderstanding is that Taekwondo is hard to learn. That's just not the case at all and everyone is eligible. It just takes a bit of effort, concentration and some good old fashioned sweat. Quality instruction combined with a strong desire and regular training and you will accomplish your goals.
